The human beings have too much too learn before evolving to a society where animals, plants and environment are not used and abused.

Kudos to Birkenstock for creating Vegan stylish shoes!

I agree with Mary to some degree and other companies following suit would be great for the planet.

    Non-CFC and solvent-free manufacturing… now that’s a good step towards sustainable development.

I personally own a Vegan Birki sandal and I have to say, it is so comfortable that you would want to wear those summer shorts everyday and slip on those comfy sandals. I’ve had it for several years now and it still looks great despite wear and tear. However, once your feet grows bigger, the edges of the sandals can hurt your feet. Ill-fitting Birkis are not recommended for long distance walking. It will cramp the sole of your foot.

Kudos to the company’s efforts to provide quality and environment-friendly proucts!

For those that are not aware Natalie Portman – the 2011 best actress academy award winner – has launched her own vegan shoe line in 2008.

It’s wonderful to know that some famous people are doing their best to preserve our animal’s lives.

Interesting vegan shoe line from Natalie Paortman, I read she stopped doing vegan diet due to her pregnancy.
