Boot of Confidence

Saturday, October 6th, 2012

A vegan faux leather boot for when you’re needing to feel tough enough to take on the world. (or maybe your cranky boss or annoying coworker) Put these on and walk into the office with confidence and style. They look great with a flirty skirt and a pair of tights or under some wide leg wool pants. Winter is coming, get ready to stomp! Heel measures 2.25 inches. Shaft measures approximately 9 inches in height, 13 inches in circumference. All man-made materials and cruelty free. These boots have 68 reviews and mention that you may want to order up a half a size. (All the reviews I read were positive, but I must admit that I only made it through the first 15 or so)

Men’s Vegan Cowboy Boots from Dingo

Saturday, September 22nd, 2012

I got a couple emails thanking me for featuring the women’s cowboy boots but asking about any styles available for men. They are not easy to find, and don’t always stay in stock, but I found these synthetic leather boots with uppers that sport a six-row stitch pattern on the shaft. Gives it a nice western flare. They have a textile lining and cushioned footbed. Man-made materials and a rubber heel and forefoot for added traction. Animal cruelty-free.

City Classified Yaku Lipstick Red and Black Cap-Toe Ballet Flats

Saturday, September 15th, 2012

Sad to see the weather changing to fall outside but it is a good excuse to shake up your footwear. Hide the toes with these red and black ballet flats. All man made materials sport a red faux suede which contrasts dramatically with a shiny patent black toe cap. Will look equally adorable with jeans and skirts.

Vegan Cowboy Boots – Madden Girl Women’s Sanguine Boot

Monday, September 10th, 2012

Vegan cowboy boots are sometimes ‘hit or miss’ because the man-made materials sometimes look cheap and plastic-y. And who wants that? A friend of mine took a chance on these boots from Madden Girl and I was very surprised! The quality is great and they look nice and rugged. They do NOT look cheap and fake. My friend admits that she is having trouble with them giving her a blister, and wishes she sized down a half size for a better fit. However, I think these are a good deal!
